Program Structure of MBA

A typical MBA program has the following structure: First Year: The student, in the first year of the MBA program, is introduced to the various functional areas of management - Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, et cetera. Summer Project: After completing the first year, a student gets an opportunity to work on a live project with a company for around 10 weeks in order to gain insight into the real world of management. Second Year: The second year curriculum would typically include about 6 - 8 compulsory courses and a few electives according to the individual’s choice, which would depend on the area of specialization.
